About Cleveland Insurance Brokers

History

After graduating from BGSU, Chris began his insurance career as a claims representative for a regional carrier in Columbus, Ohio. He eventually moved to the East Coast and worked as a trade closer supporting Wall Street traders before obtaining his insurance licenses in 2014. He found that helping people - through education, savings, or better coverage - is by far the most rewarding aspect of this business. Chris was eager to cultivate his knowledge, and he began selling more complex commercial insurance to restaurants, auto repair shops, and contractors in the Mid-Atlantic region. Midway through 2016, Chris met a former colleague for lunch. They discussed an opportunity to start an independent insurance brokerage in Wilmington, Delaware. Their new brokerage opened September 2016 and in a mere 19 months, grew to a staff of seven with a $3.8 MM book of business.

Upon returning to his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, Chris began laying the foundation for Cleveland Insurance Brokers. Since 2018, we’ve been working with local business owners and families to help them better manage the myriad risks they face each day.
